Course Content

1. Server Hardware: Students learn about server hardware components, including processors, memory, storage devices, expansion cards, and power supply units. They gain an understanding of server architecture, form factors, and the selection and installation of server hardware.

2. Server Operating Systems: Students are introduced to server operating systems such as Windows Server or Linux distributions. They learn how to install, configure, and manage server operating systems, including user and group management, file and print services, and network services.

3. Network Fundamentals: Students acquire a basic understanding of networking concepts, including network protocols, IP addressing, subnetting, and network troubleshooting. They learn how to configure and manage network connectivity for server systems.

4. Server Virtualization: Students are introduced to the concept of server virtualization, including popular virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V. They learn how to create and manage virtual machines, allocate resources, and perform virtual machine migrations.
