London School of International Business (LSIB)

Is work experience required for the Asper MBA program?

Work experience is not required for admission to the Asper MBA program, but it is highly recommended. The program values diversity in its student body and recognizes the unique perspectives and insights that individuals with different backgrounds bring to the table.

While work experience is not a strict requirement, having some professional experience can greatly enhance your MBA experience. It can provide you with real-world examples to draw upon during class discussions, help you develop valuable leadership and teamwork skills, and give you a competitive edge in the job market upon graduation.

That being said, if you do not have any work experience, it does not mean you will not be considered for the program. The admissions committee takes a holistic approach to evaluating applicants and considers a variety of factors, including academic achievements, extracurricular activities, and personal qualities.
